I had the privilege of participating in a beautiful styled shoot at a new venue, Hummingbird Hill, in Chappell Hill, Texas. It was styled as a romantic summer wedding at Hummingbird HIll. The venue is so beautiful! It boasts of large oak trees, a ceremony site in front of a tranquil pond, an timeless chapel with stained glass adorned with hummingbirds, and highland cows. If you are looking for upscale Texas charm, look no further; Hummingbird Hill is where you need to be. It’s charming and beautiful and thoughtfully curated by the owner, Kaylin. I love being a part of the venue’s beginnings! I can’t wait for many more events!
The couple modeling has been married for one month and they graciously agreed to put on wedding garb once more and pose for the camera. They were professionals by this point. They knew how to put on a good show and they are a gorgeous couple. I didn’t have to coach them much for poses and every pose looked so natural. All I had to do was click the shutter button. What more could a wedding photographer ask for?! They are genuinely kind people as well, seriously loved them! Thanks guys!
And let’s talk about the wedding attire. The couple was styled by Chantilly Grace, and it was divine. Her eye for style is unmatched. The styling was absolutely flawless. The couple looked luxurious and ready for the cover of a magazine. Of course, our hair and makeup professionals took things to the next level. Honestly everyone is so talented, I can’t believe I get to work with such amazing folks. It is my absolute please to photograph their work and create beautiful photographs of their talent! The couple was definitely styled perfectly giving off stunning romantic wedding vibes.
Photographing this couple and this venue an easy job for me. When everything is gorgeous, you want to take pictures of it all! The best photos come from freedom to be creative, but personally I thrive under pressure. I need strict guidelines, as well as deadlines. We started photos in the amazing chapel, and finished up outside. There were multiple shoots happening at the same time, so I stayed close to the chapel, and I also had to work around the beaming Texas sun. I am thrilled with how these photos turned out, the first one is on my website homepage. Everyone and everything was beautiful. It was an absolute delight to be a part of this beautiful romantic wedding shoot.
Always,
Cecilly Elaine
