A Day in the Garden

Themed Women’s Network Event

I was absolutely honored to be a part of this gorgeous garden themed women’s network event! A friend and local business owner asked if I would take pictures at a beautifully styled brunch for local women owned businesses. It was hosted by a gorgeous girl Jessica Teegarden, owner of Rosegarden Creations, an artful charcuterie service for breakfast, brunch, appetizers, and grazing boards. Jess is truly an artist at crafting a food experience. She thinks through how each bite is going to complement the next. I adore her work and am so glad to have met her. A local photo studio hosted the event and it was expertly styled by one of my favorites Becky Serna, owner of Royal Wren Events. Becky is a full service planner and decorator. Her work cannot be topped. Her style is timeless and gorgeous. She brings each event to life with perfectly paired colors and expertly curated tablescapes and decorations for a truly immersive experience. The theme was a day in the garden. A networking event for women in which we actually were transported to a day in the garden for brunch. It was absolutely dreamy.

Every detail of the day was beautiful; the food, the decorating, and the women! I was so pleased to be among these power-houses and beautiful souls! The guest list consisted of makeup artists, luxury aestheticians, hairstylists, clothing boutique owners, skilled baker, balloon artist, a plant expert and shop owner, the studio owners, charcuterie service, florist, our expert planners and decorator, and of course, the photographers! Myself and Denise Alexandra.

We drank mimosas, ate brunch, and were able to share our businesses with one another. The garden themed women’s event was for socialization, networking, and most importantly, celebrating one another, because owning a business is HARD, and having like minded people in your corner is so important! I had a blast and really loved being together with such fantastic people! I say we make it an annual get together! Let’s celebrate!
