At first, it’s just a shoot, and soon it’s a sea of gentle yellow for acres and acres. What a wonderful thing it is to behold the fields of sunflowers just in time for summer! The sunflowers are planted every year here in central Texas and we always take advantage of their beauty. I wonder if the world knows that we admire it so much.

Despite the extreme temperatures we’ve had over the last week, this wonderful soul made it look easy! Lexi is a dream to photograph, and she is just radiant. I mean look at her, perfection. She equals the sunflowers around her, beaming beauty, light, and ease. This young lady is going into her senior year, and what a spectacular way to document summer than in the beauty of the season!
